Farmers market finds new home in Bellaire starting Wednesday

The itinerant Braeswood Farmers Market will open from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 8) at what organizers hope is a longterm home — in the parking lot of the former Randalls store at 5130 Bellaire Blvd.

The semi-weekly market will also be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Founded in 2019 by Houston entrepreneur Michael Babajanov, the market features more than 60 vendors of local produce, meats, baked goods, prepared foods and specialty items such as coffee, wines, salsas and honey. Food trucks and live music are sometimes part of the mix.

Bellaire is the market’s third location.

The market has an eponymous Facebook page, and potential vendors may contact organizers at info@braeswoodfarmersmarket.com.
