Bellaire City Council will vote tonight on a plan that would create a temporary fire station in the 4800 block of Fournace Place for use during construction of the new station next to City Hall on South Rice Avenue.
The lease agreement with Chevron U.S.A. Inc. would allow for the use of office space and parking through October of 2010 for a cost not to exceed $190,000. Council will hear the plans at the July 6 meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, 7008 S. Rice Ave.
