Fog May Plague Morning Commuters, Remainder of Day to be Pleasant

December 30, 2011 by Bellaire Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

The Bellaire area has been placed under a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m. by the National Weather Service.

The advisory is part of a weather notice issued for most of the Houston area.

While there are few problems being reported in the Bellaire area, commuters may encounter dense fog with visibilities at or below one quarter mile.

Motorists encountering foggy areas are urged to slow down, use low-beam headlights and leave extra distance between vehicles.

The remainder of the day will see mostly sunny skies with highs reaching 72 degrees.
