West University’s Friend Guild, now in its second year, will hold the first Friends Guild Coffee for the 2008-2009 season, featuring a presentation by Parks Board member Janine Shueppert on the $13.8 million bond proposal for Colonial Park Pool and the West U. Rec. Center.
The coffee will be held at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 28, at the home of Elaine Day, 3011 University Boulevard. Park Lovers’ Ball 2009 co-chairs Susie Garofolo and her husband, Nicholas Ro, will also be introduced.
