Gas Prices In West U Drop by 2.1 Cents, Now Averaging $2.55 Per Gallon

Average retail gasoline prices in West U have fallen 2.1 cents per gallon in the past week, dropping to an average of $2.55 per gallon yesterday.
This compares with a national average that has fallen 3.1 cents per gallon in the past week to $2.75 per gallon, according to gasoline price website HoustonGasPrices.com.
Including the change in West U gas prices last week, prices yesterday were 8.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 5.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 2.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 12.7 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
