Gasoline Prices Drop Again Last Week, Now Average $3.56 Per Gallon

GAS PRICES DROP – Gas prices dropped by more than a nickel last week, bringing the average cost for unleaded regular to $3.56 per gallon.

Gasoline prices in the Bellaire area fell by more than a nickel last week, the third significant price drop in as many weeks.

Average retail gasoline prices fell 5.8 cents to an average of $3.56 per gallon as of yesterday.

This compares with a national average that fell 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.77 per gallon, according to HoustonGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Bellaire during the past week, prices yesterday were $1.01 per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 29.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 17.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands $1.04 per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
