Gasoline Prices In West U Drop Two Cents, Now Average $2.59 Per Gallon

GAS PRICES DROP – Gas prices in the West U area dropped by two cents last week to an average of $2.59 per gallon.
Average retail gasoline prices in West U have fallen 2.0 cents per gallon in the past week.
The current average price for a gallon of unleaded regular was $2.59 as of yesterday.
The local average compares with a national average that has fallen 0.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.80 per gallon according to gasoline price website HoustonGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in West U during the past week, prices yesterday were 7.9 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 9.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 9.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 12.9 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
