Gasoline Prices Up Again Last Week, Bellaire Average Now $2.92 Per Gallon

GAS PRICES UP AGAIN – Bellaire gasoline prices continued their upward climb last week. The average cost for a gallon of unleaded regular is now $2.92.

Gasoline prices in the Bellaire area continued their steady climb toward the $3 mark last week, rising more than a penny from the previous week.

The average retail gasoline price in Bellaire rose 1.2 cents per gallon last week, averaging $2.92 per gallon as of yesterday.

Bellaire’s average price remains below the national average, which increased 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.09 per gallon, according to gasoline price website HoustonGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Bellaire during the past week, prices yesterday were 40.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 8.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 8.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 39.3 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
