Greater Southwest Houston Chamber Introducing New Networking Tool For Members

August 29, 2008 by Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

Over the next few months, the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce will be rolling out new technology for its members. A recently acquired Web-based networking tool called ChamberMaster will allow members to keep their information current, post job listings, advertise events and network with other members on a real-time basis.
“We are excited to have this technology at our fingertips and look forward to our members utilizing this great business-building tool,” said Sue Schechter, president of the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce. “ChamberMaster is yet another reason to join the Chamber and let us help you grow.”
Similar to other networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, or LinkedIn, members are provided with their own personal login information, allowing them access to post notices, view other members and update profiles at their convenience. This system has been used in other chambers across the country.
The chamber expects to have ChamberMaster up and running for all members by early fall.
