Harris County Mosquito Control To Begin Spraying In West U.

Harris County Mosquito Control will begin spraying in and around West University, most likely Sunday though Thursdays from 8:30 p.m.-a.m.
The City of West U. sprays on Monday nights from 10 p.m.-5 a.m.
So far this year, there have been 11 confirmed cases of West Nile Virus in mosquitoes in Harris County. In 2007, there were 17 deaths caused by WNV. None have been reported so far this year.
West U.’s Animal Control Officer Daniel Paripovich said there have been no cases so far this year in West U.
