Heavy Trash Day Is April 24 At Public Works Facility

West University Place Heavy Trash Day is April 24 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Public Works facility, 3826 Milton.
This event is for residents only (proof of residency will be required). City staff will be available to unload vehicles. Enter the event from the intersection of University & College Street.
Items to dispose or recycle:
Electronic Waste: computers, printers, cell phones, laser and ink jet cartridges, TVs, monitors, battery backups, keyboards, etc.
Residents can dispose of almost anything, except hazardous waste (paints, cleaning chemicals, fuels, tires, etc.). For those disposing of any items that have Freon (fridges, air conditioners, etc.), a certificate indicating the Freon has been removed from the unit is required.
Items that are not accepted during normal curbside pickup, such as, bricks, concrete, junk iron, lumber, etc. will be accepted.
Goodwill will be on site to accept usable items, except for mattresses and bedding of any kind.
