Due to Hurricane Ike, the Houston Independent School District has cancelled all athletic events and field trips scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12, 13 and 14.
Additionally, all after-school athletic events and field trips which require travel outside of Harris County are cancelled for tomorrow, Sept. 11. Any further cancellations will be announced no later than noon tomorrow, Sept. 11.
