Houston Choral Showcase will present its 2010 Holiday Show “Sing We Now of Christmas” on Sunday, Dec.12 at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church, I-10 at Wirt.
The performance begins at 3 p.m. and is followed by a reception for audience members. The choir will provide a selection of vocal musical entertainment, including holiday tunes, excerpts from “The Grinch” movie and jazzy variants of traditional songs.
Tickets for the performance are $15 at the door, with discount pricing for advance purchase or groups of eight or more.
Houston Choral Showcase is an adult show choir performing songs in a variety of styles, including pop, jazz, swing, gospel and Broadway. Choral singing is enhanced with staging, choreographed movement, and professionally recorded full orchestral accompaniment.
In addition to the Dec.12 show, Houston Choral Showcase can be seen in various other public venues throughout the holiday season, including the Nutcracker Market, The Woodlands Waterway Lighting of the Doves, Jones Plaza in the Theater District, Uptown Holiday Lighting, Hobby Center and Sugar Land Town Square.
