The Houston Zoo is hosting a Photo Day that will include the newest additions to the African Forest on Saturday, Dec. 18.
The Zoo will open its gates two hours early at 7 a.m. on Dec. 18, allowing ticket holders to take advantage of catching some of the Zoo’s early risers.
Some of the new additions to the African Forest include chimpanzees and rhinos.
Photo Day ticket holders can take part in a continental breakfast and scheduled photo opportunities.
Photo Day Schedule
7 a.m. – 8 a.m. Free roaming photo access to Zoo grounds and all outside exhibits
8 a. m. – 8:30 a.m. Animal enrichment activity at rhinos in The African Forest
8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. Animal enrichment activity at giraffes in The African Forest
Tickets are $30 for adult members, $20 for child/senior/student members, $40 for adult non-members, $30 for child/senior/student non-members. Children under 4 years of age are free.
Zoo goers are asked to enter at Gate 5 – Brown Education Center.
