Implosion! Historic Med Center building comes tumbling down

Heavy traffic isn’t something you’d necessarily expect to see early in the morning. On a Sunday. The day after a Texans’ playoff win. But around the Medical Center, where the streets were closed in anticipation of a scheduled implosion to demolish the Houston Main Building, also known as the Texas Medical Center Prudential building, traffic might not have been as thick as the incoming fog, but it was pretty close.
