The Jewish Community Center of Houston began their 36th annual Jewish Books & Art Fair Nov. 2 at the Jewish Community Center, 5601 S. Braeswood. The even will feature Martin Fletcher, NBC Tel Aviv bureau chief and author of “Breaking News: A Stunning and Memorable Account of Reporting from Some of the Most Dangerous Places in the World” at 8 p.m. Nov. 5. The book fair runs through Nov. 16.
The book fair runs through Nov. 16, and will include more than 36 authors, three concerts, and five films. Book signings follow all presentations. Participants will have an opportunity to shop at the bookstore, which features more than 4,000 titles.
