West University Police are optimistic that the violent robber who stabbed a resident on Sunday will soon be charged.
“The leads are promising,” said Capt. Thad Olive, an otherwise tight-lipped, but confident police official.
The knifing occurred in the 2700 block of Arbuckle Street just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The victim opened his door to a disheveled man. The man wasn’t successful in entering the home, but he stabbed the victim, then drove his car north on Wakeforest.
Police are reminding residents to report suspicious vehicles or person to 713-668-0330, or to 911 in an emergency.
