Local high school student Brendan Ehrenstrom recently earned third chair trumpet in the Texas Private School Music Educators Association All-State Band.
Ehrenstrom was named third chair after competing in an auditioning process just before Thanksgiving.
He was recently selected to the Association of Texas Small School Bands regional band at the regional competition where he earned first chair trumpet.
“It is a huge honor to be selected to the All-State Band and to see Brendan’s hard work pay off,” said HCHS Band Director Allison Redmon, “We are all very proud of Brendan’s achievements.”
