Make way for Bellaire Trolley Run

April 12, 2019 by Charlotte Aguilar

Major Bellaire streets — including South Rice Avenue and Bellaire Boulevard — are closed this morning (April 13) starting at 7:15 a.m. for the 24th annual Bellaire Trolley Run. It launches at 7:30 a.m. with a one-mile family-kids race, followed by a wheelchair division competition at 7:50 a.m., the 5K run at 8 a.m., and the stroller division taking off at 8:10 a.m.

The starting and finish line for all events is in front of the new Bellaire City Hall, 7000 S. Rice Ave., followed by a post-race party in Bellaire Town Square featuring music, food, vendors, trophies and door prizes.

Hosts are the city of Bellaire, Patrons for Bellaire Parks, and the Al Lawrence Running Club.
