The Bellaire Police Department is investigating a man who fired a gunshot into the front door of a home in the 500 block of S. Third St. on April 15.
The man walked up to the door, rang the bell and fired a shot as the resident came to answer the door, Officer Tim Quimby said. The shot did not injure anyone in the home.
This is the second time this incident has occurred in the last month, Quimby said.
The male suspect was described as being white or Hispanic, clean shaven, wearing a long sleeve navy blue shirt with stripes and blue jeans. He could possibly be driving a grey minivan.
This incident in under investigation.
