Man Robbed At Knifepoint After Grocery Shopping

Two men tried to rob a man who was getting into his car after grocery shopping in the 5800 block of Bissonnet on May 8.

The two men held out a knife and asked for the victim’s wallet, who wouldn’t give it to them. The man tried to fight off the robbers and got a minor cut on his hand, which was later treated by a Bellaire Fire Department Medic.

The men fled the scene without getting the victim’s wallet.

The men are described as Hispanic males. One is about 5 ft. 8 inch. tall, between 30 to 35 years of age, weighing about 180 lbs.

The other is about 5 ft. 10 inch. tall between 30 to 35 years of age, weighting about 200 lbs.

Both men were wearing blue jeans, white shirts with lettering and baseball caps.

This incident in under investigation by the Bellaire Police Department.
