October 20, 2009 by Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

A man on Oct. 14 told police that three men robbed him at gunpoint while he was vacuuming his vehicle at a local car wash

Officers arrived around 11:30 a.m. at the Bellaire Car Wash, 4300 Beachnut St., and investigated the aggravated robbery.

The victim said one suspect was a 24-to-year old Hispanic male wearing a brown hoodie who was clean shaven, and appeared about 5-foot-8-inches tall and 150 pounds. Another suspect, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, wore a yellow and green hoodie and appeared to be about 5-foot-6-inches tall and 140 pounds. The victim didn’t get a good look at the third suspect, who was the driver of the get-away vehicle.

UPDATE: On Oct. 21, Bellaire Police refused to release more information about this incident. “We are limited to how much we can give out and I gave you everything I could,” said Officer Tim Quimby in an email.
