Mark Twain Principal Accused Of Racially Insensitive Remarks

Mark Twain Elementary’s Principal Joyce Dauber has been reassigned to administrative duties pending the outcome of an investigation prompted by a group of teachers claiming Dauber made racially insensitive comments.
Houston Independent School District representatives say the investigation should be complete before the start of the school year, which begins on Aug. 25. Dauber’s current administrative duties are not on the Twain campus.
