More Information Released About Rec. Center Graffiti Incident

More information has been released about a recent graffiti incident at the West U Recreation Center.

West U police was called to the Rec. Center on Tuesday, Oct. 15 around 3:39 p.m. because someone had spray painted graffiti on a back wall of the Rec. Center.

West U police was called to the Rec. Center on Tuesday, Oct. 15 around 3:39 p.m. because someone had spray painted graffiti on a back wall of the public facility.

City staff reported the incident and a crew from the public works department was able to paint the wall, removing the graffiti.

West U Police Capt. Thad Olive said they believe the incident was an isolated act.

Anyone with information about the incident is asking to contact West U police.
