Multiple Identify Theft Reports Under Investigation With Bellaire Police

Bellaire police are investigating numerous identity theft reports that occurred between Jan. 7-14.

On Jan. 7, an unknown person used a resident’s social security number to open an account.

On Jan. 10, an unknown person made two withdrawals from someone else’s debit card at Wells Fargo, 5102 Bellaire.

On Jan. 13, someone’s personal information was used to open two credit card accounts.

On Jan. 14, an unknown person used someone’s account information to make several purchases.
