Museum Seeks College Applicants For Internships

A prominent art museum in Houston is calling on college students interested in museum careers to apply for summer internships meant to provide real-world experience and networking opportunities.
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is accepting applications from college sophomores, juniors and seniors through Jan. 25. Museum interns will work full time for 10 weeks from June 7 through August 13 and receive a stipend of $3,000.
“Interning at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is a wonderful way for students to work towards their goals while creating meaningful mentor relationships with museum employees,” said George Ramirez, MFAH manager of student programs and technology projects, in a statement. “The internship program offers invaluable, real-world experience that helps students build professional backgrounds that leads towards careers.”
