Neighbors Report Suspicious Behavior, Burglar Breaks Into Home

June 17, 2010 by Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

A burglar broke into a home in the 2900 block of Bissonnet and stole several pieces of jewelry and a lap top computer.
Neighbors saw a suspicious green pickup truck parked outside of the townhouses on Bissonnet around 2:41 p.m. on June 11 and called the police.
They had no idea a burglary was taking place, Lt. Charlie Deily said.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a window broken on the home and a bin full of items by the door that the burglar had prepared to take out of the residence.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early 30s. If anyone remembers seeing a green pickup truck in the 2900 block of Bissonnet or has any other details, call the police.
Deily said the neighbors did the right thing by calling in the suspicion person.
If a resident sees something suspicious or sees something out of the ordinary, call 911, he said.
