Not Much On The Agenda For Council’s June 22 Regular Session

June 22, 2009 by Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

Following West U. Council’s special session in the conference room at 5 p.m. June 22, council will meet in regular session June 22 at 6:30 in council chambers, 3800 University Blvd.

The only item on the agenda other than public speakers and approval of last meeting’s minutes is a report by Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director Chris Peifer on the work Union Pacific is doing on the railroad tracks and land between West U. and Bellaire.

The 5 p.m. special session includes council orientation and goal setting, as well as more discussion on the city’s recreational facilities. New Councilman Steven Segal says he plans to ask that any vote on the recreational facilities be delayed until the regular session.
