One person was killed and seven people have been taken to the hospital after a wall collapsed at Rice University this evening. The collapse occurred around 4:15 p.m. at a building under construction on Sunset Boulevard at Rice Boulevard.
According to reports, the injured were construction workers. It is not known at this time what caused the collapse, or of it was weather related.
