Pedestrian killed along railroad tracks between Bellaire, West U

November 6, 2015 by Charlotte Aguilar Leave a Comment

Houston police are investigating the death of a pedestrian on the Union Pacific railroad tracks between Bellaire and West University late Friday afternoon.
ABC-13 said details are sketchy, but that police reported the incident happened on the tracks parallel to the 5100 block of Newcastle Drive in Bellaire. That would pinpoint the location between Bissonnet Street and Westpark Drive, near Glenmont in Bellaire, and near Sunset in West U.
Although the tracks run along the two cities, Houston police have jurisdiction, authorities told InstantNews.
