Work is progressing on Phase II of West U.’s Streetlight Project, which began Jan. 5.
Pole/fixture installation is complete from Bissonnet to University and Buffalo Speedway to Kirby, with the exception of Charlotte, Lake, Fordham and Annapolis. Streetlight hookups and old pole removal is expected by the end of the month.
Pole installation on Fenwood began Jan. 12, and the installation of poles will continue south towards Bellaire on University to Bellaire Blvd. and Buffalo Speedway to Kirby.
Work on Bissonnet to Bellaire Blvd. and Poor Farm Ditch to Buffalo Speedway is expected to begin in early February.
