Police Arrest Bellaire Resident For Possession Of Marijuana

Police arrested a 22-year-old Bellaire resident on Dec. 5 for possession of marijuana.

West U police arrested a 22-year-old Bellaire resident on Dec. 5 for possession of marijuana.

Officers pulled a vehicle over in the 4200 block of Bissonnet for an expired inspection sticker and no front license plate.

During the traffic stop, police could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The driver, Barrett Lanier, told the officer that he had marijuana under his seat, police said.

Lanier was arrested for possession of marijuana and transferred to Harris County jail.
