Police arrested a 31-year-old Houston resident for forgery at Bank of Texas on Nov. 12.
West U police arrested a 31-year-old Houston resident on Nov. 12 for trying to pass a forged check at Bank of Texas, 5500 Kirby.
Police were called to the bank while the suspect, Zade McDade, was trying to cash a check that was a little less than $1,000.
The account had been under watch by the bank because an unknown person had cashed a forged check using the same account information a week earlier, police said.
McDade was arrested and charged with forgery.
He was transported to Harris County Jail.
