Police Arrest Several Motorists For Driving While License Invalid

Police arrested several motorists for driving while license invalid from Nov. 2-7.

Bellaire police arrested a 28-year-old man on Nov. 2 for driving while license invalid.

According to reports, police pulled a vehicle over in the 6000 block of OH 610 East Service Road for an expired inspection sticker of June 2009.

During the traffic stop, the driver, Kenneth Banks, was found to be driving without insurance and with an invalid license, police said.

He was arrested for the offense.

On Nov. 2, Joseph McGowen, 26, was arrested for driving while license invalid.

According to reports, McGowen was pulled over in the 5900 block of IH 610 West Service Road for going straight in a right turn only lane.

During the traffic stop, he was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license.

He was arrested for the offense.

On Nov. 4, Esteven Golightly, 36, was arrested for driving while license invalid.

According to reports, Golightly was pulled over in the 4800 block of Bellaire Blvd. for a defective brake light.

During the traffic stop, police found that his license was suspended because of several previous convictions for driving while license suspended.

Golightly was arrested for the offense.

On Nov. 7, Jlio Alvarez, 32, was arrested for driving while license invalid.

According to reports, Alvarez was pulled over in the 5300 block of Bissonnet for driving without brake lights.

During the traffic stop, he was found to be driving with a suspended license for no insurance.

Alvarez was arrested for the offense.
