Police Arrest Several Motorists For Outstanding West U Warrants

West U police arrested several motorists for outstanding warrants from Nov. 1-6.
A 36-year-old Houston resident was arrested on Nov. 1 for outstanding West U warrants.
Sonia Ordonez was arrested on four warrants. Her warrants were for failure to appear, expired inspection, expired registration and no insurance, police said.
Ordonez posted a cash bond and was released from jail.
On Nov. 5, Jennifer Cuccia, a 32-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for outstanding West U warrants.
Cuccia’s warrants were for driving while license invalid, expired inspection and invalid registration.
She paid her fine and was released from jail.
On Nov. 6, Lori White, a 32-year-old Katy resident, was arrested for an outstanding capias warrant for speeding.
A capias warrant is a warrant where the suspect is found guilty and failed to pay the fine.
White was released from jail for time served and was transferred to Katy Police Department for more outstanding warrants, police said.
On Nov. 6, Cameron Shemwell, a 27-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for an outstanding capias warrant.
Shemwell’s warrant was for driving while license invalid.
He paid his fine and was released to the Houston Police Department, police said.
