Police Arrest Two Houston Residents For Possession Of Marijuana

West U police arrested a 21-year-old driver and her 20-year-old passenger on Nov. 12 for possession of marijuana.
Police stopped a vehicle in the 5200 block of Buffalo Speedway for driving 41 mph in a 30 mph speed zone.
During the traffic stop, the officer could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver and passenger admitted that there was marijuana in the vehicle, police said.
Police searched the vehicle and found about 10 grams of marijuana and three glass pipes.
There was a plastic baggie containing marijuana in the center console of the vehicle and a baggie in the purse of the passenger, police said.
The driver, Chelsea Whiting, a 21-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
The passenger, Karly Jensen, a 20-year-ols Houston resident, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Both were transported to Harris County Jail.
