Bellaire Police arrested a 23-year-old woman who was standing in the middle of the road at 2:29 a.m. in the 6300 block of IH 610 East Service Road on July 16.

The officer was checking on Joseph’s welfare when she provided an incorrect name and date of birth, police said.

Courtney Joseph was arrested for failure to identify fugitive from justice for providing false information to a police officer.

Joseph had an outstanding warrant with East Baton Rouge County, which helped police learn her identity.

On July 14, Bellaire Police arrested a man for failure to identify at Randall’s, 5130 Bellaire.

Derrick Scott, 36, was arrested for giving two officers different identifying information.

The officers responded to a trespass call at Randall’s at 1:46 p.m.

One of the officers recognized Scott from a soliciting call earlier that day and had been provided different identifying information, police said.

Scott was arrested for the offense.
