Police Investigate Several Shoplifting Incidents At Local Gas Stations, Grocery Stores

Bellaire police are investigating several shoplifting incidents that have occurred from Oct. 26-31.

Bellaire police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred on Oct. 31 at Shell Gas Station, 5910 West Loop South.

According to reports, a man entered the gas station and took a 20 pack of beer to the counter around 10 p.m.

The suspect asked the employee behind the counter for two packs of cigarettes and put a $50 bill on the counter.

When the employee retrieved the cigarettes, the man grabbed the money, beer and cigarettes and fled the store, police said.

These shoplifting incidents are also under investigation:

On Oct. 26, an unknown person stole two cases of beer from Shell Gas Station, 5910 West Loop South.

On Oct. 30, an unknown person stole a package of meat from HEB, 5130 Cedar.

On Oct. 31, several items were stolen from Randall’s Grocery Store, 5130 Bellaire.
