Police Looking For Three Suspects In Randall’s Theft

Police are looking for three suspects who, according to reports, were caught on video filling a shopping cart and the Randall’s grocery store at 5130 Bellaire Blvd. and leaving without paying on Dec. 5.

 

The suspects are described as a Hispanic male with long curly hair and a goatee wearing an oversized white T-shirt, a dark colored long-sleeved undershirt, dark hoodie and baggie pants; a heavy-set black female wearing a dark-colored jacket with fur around the collar, a low-cut horizontal striped v-neck shirt, blue jeans with white socks, carrying a medium-sized dark strap purse and a black male wearing a tan jacket, possibly a purple T-shirt, blue jeans, dark hoodie and white shoes with a light color on the front.

 

Two women were arrested and charged with the robbery of the Family Dollar store at 5861 Bissonnet on Dec. 1. A Bellaire police officer responded to the call around 6:56 p.m., and found a vehicle matching the witness’s description on Renwick near Bellaire Boulevard. Laquisha Edwards, 30, and Lakee Mills, 29, were arrested.

 

A resident in the 800 block of Anderson called police Dec. 1, saying he was assaulted by two people. An officer responded to the residence, no charges have been filed, and the assault is still under investigation.

 

A Bellaire resident came to the police station on Dec. 1 to report stalking. She told police the man continued to send her gifts and stalk her. The District Attorney’s Office refused to press charges.

 

Four car burglaries were reported between Dec. 2 and Dec. 6. The burglaries took place in the 6500 block of West Loop South and the 8100 block of S. Rice on Dec. 2, the 5500 block of West Loop South on Dec. 4 and the 4500 block of Merrie Lane on Dec. 6.

 

A shopper at the H.E.B.grocery store at 5130 Cedar told police on Dec. 2 that her wallet and coin purse was stolen from her purse while she was shopping. The theft is under investigation.

 

On Dec. 3, a Bellaire resident reported a stolen credit card and a stolen single check. Several unauthorized charges were made in the card.

 

Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Nelson Umana, 25, after a resident in the 6500 block of Newcastle reported that Umana allegedly stole property while working on the resident’s garage.

 

Police responded to a burglary in progress Dec. 4 after a resident called police and said she saw two men leaving the backyard of a home in the 5300 block of Aspen. The men got into a red vehicle and left. When police arrived, they discovered that the back door had been forced open, items in the house had been thrown on the floor and property was missing.

 

A resident in the 5200 block of Maple reported theft from an estate sale on Dec. 3. There were several people at the house during the sale, and the theft is under investigation.

 

Property was reported stolen from the garage of a home under construction in the 4600 block of Beech on Dec. 6.

 

A resident in the 4400 block of Lula told police that an unknown person used her personal information to try to open a credit card account online. The incident is under investigation.
