Police Make Several Arrests For Outstanding West U Warrants

West U police made several arrests for outstanding warrants fron Oct. 24-29.
A 26-year-old Woodlands resident was arrested for two outstanding West U warrants on Oct. 24.
Michael McDaniel was arrested for two warrants for failure to appear and running a stop sign, police said.
McDaniel posted a cash bond and was released from West U jail.
On Oct. 28, Eric Harris, a 24-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for an outstanding capias warrant.
Harris’ warrant was for driving while license invalid. A capias warrant is a warrant where the suspect is found guilty and failed to pay the fine.
He was released from jail for time served.
On Oct. 29, August Riser, a 24-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for four outstanding warrants.
Riser’s warrants were for failure to appear, no insurance, expired registration and speeding, police said.
He posted bond and was released from jail.
