Before construction starts this spring at Evelyn’s Park, area residents will have the opportunity to enjoy three days of “Pop-Up in the Park,” a curated market featuring local artisans, local bands and food trucks.
The first 2015 Pop-Up market will be held Saturday, January 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The market will feature jewelry, clothing, food, art and more, all sold locally. It will showcase the creativity of local people, who do not have brick-and-mortar storefronts, but have a wide variety of products.
The first phase of construction at Evelyn’s Park is scheduled to begin in late spring. The new 5-acre park in the city of Bellaire is located at Bellaire Blvd. and Newcastle. Parking is available at the Bellaire United Methodist Church, across Bellaire Blvd., near the park.
