Bellaire Recycling Committee and the Building and Standards Commission are currently looking to fill one position on each board.
The Recycling Committee has one unexpired term ending in June 2012.
The Recycling Committee creates programs and projects to educate the public on recycling trends and issues.
The Building and Standards Commission has one expired term ending in June 2011.
BSC is responsible for the review of administrative actions of the city building official, health and safety ordinances, variances from building codes and make advisory opinions for building structures and construction codes.
Interested applicants can fill out a form here. Applications need to be returned to city hall by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6.
Council will interview and appoint applicants on Monday, Jan. 17.
