Jazmynn Lucero found out she was pregnant after moving to Houston in October 2011.
She had no close family and had been told by doctors she couldn’t get pregnant.
When she walked out of the clinic, “completely shocked and scared” by the news, Lucero was greeted by anti-abortion protestors who directed her to LifeHouse, a Christ-based housing ministry that assists women with their unplanned pregnancy.
After an hours-long phone call and an interview with LifeHouse volunteers the same day, Lucero packed her bags and moved into LifeHouse two days later.
