Presbyterian Prep Bowl Students Win Consolation Championship Title

Presbyterian School 8th grade Academic Prep Bowl students earned the consolation championship title in the 38th Prep Bowl Tournament hosted at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School on Jan. 14.

Presbyterian School 8th grade Academic Prep Bowl students earned the consolation championship title in the 38th Prep Bowl Tournament.

Twenty-three middle schools entered teams in the competition. After winning the Practice Round against St. Ambrose, the Presbyterian School team lost to St. Anthony in Round 1 placing the team in the consolation bracket for the playoffs.

Round 2 was single elimination and Presbyterian remained in the competition with a strong win over St. Michael. With a bye in Round 3 and a win in Round 4, Presbyterian qualified for the consolation championship match and won 235 – 125 over St. Thomas More.

The team was presented with a consolation championship trophy at the awards ceremony. Team members at this event included Kendyl Bree,Alexa Lednicky, Rock Morille, Alena Peters, Hunter Reinertson-Forehand, Joyson Zhang, and Kyle Zhu.
