The cash office manager at the Randall’s grocery store at 5130 Bellaire Blvd. was arrested May 12 for felony theft by check. According to Bellaire police, the store’s loss prevention manager sad 38-year-old Natasha Randall was writing personal checks that were not good and bypassing the security system to cash them.
A resident of the 4500 block of Elm reported to police on May 12 that an unknown person used his identifying information to open two credit card accounts.
Lawn equipment was reported stolen out of an open garage in the 5200 block of Pocahontas on May 13. On the same day, a purse was stolen from an unlocked car in an open garage in the 5600 block of St. Moritz.
A resident of the 4500 block of Mimosa told police on May 13 that an unknown person was using his debit card to take funds out of his account. On May 16, a resident of the 4800 block of Fern told police that an unknown person wrote two personal checks on her account.
A purse was stolen from a car parked at Evergreen Park on the afternoon of May 14. The victim told police that someone broke the front passenger window of her car and stole her purse.
A resident of the 100 block of Englewood told police on May 15 that her home was broken into and property stolen.
