Randall’s Grocery Store Shopper Arrested For Stealing Box Of Cookies

Police arrested a 40-year-old man on Oct. 23 for shoplifting a box of cookies from Randall's.

Bellaire police arrested a 40-year-old man on Oct. 23 for shoplifting from Randall’s and lying to police.

According to reports, police were called to Randall’s, 5130 Bellaire, because a man had shoplifted a box of cookies that was valued at $3.49.

Police arrested Tony Vega for shoplifting and for fail to identify fugitive from justice, after he lied about his last name, police said.

Vega also had five outstanding traffic warrants from the Houston Police Department.

On Oct. 17, Dennis Coughran, 33, was arrested for shoplifting from Randall’s, 5130 Bellaire.

Coughran ran from the store but was located and charged with theft, police said.
