Houston singer and musician Sarah Grace — who made it to the semifinals of NBC’s singing competition, “The Voice”— will perform Friday (April 5) at Bellaire’s free Party at the Pavilion outdoor concert.
The concert will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the Pavilion and Great Lawn at Bellaire Town Square, 7000 S. Rice Ave.
The 16-year-old blues singer and trumpeter is a student at HISD’s Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and performs with her family band, Sarah Grace and the Soul, which includes her sister and dad.
Her appearances on “The Voice” gained her even wider notoriety on iTunes and YouTube, with her performances trending on both platforms.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the concert. Pink’s will have pizza for sale by-the-slice, and for the first time this year, adults are welcome to bring their own wine and beer.
The concert series, sponsored by the city of Bellaire and Patrons for Bellaire Parks, takes place on the first Friday of each month.
