On July 14, the driver’s side door lock was broken out of two cars parked in the parking garage at 5909 West Loop South. Nothing was stolen from either car. Later that day, a victim parked in the same garage reported damage to his driver’s side keyhole, and told police two compact air compressors were missing from his car.
A resident in the 4600 block of Holt told police he couldn’t enter his car on July 14 because of damage to the keyhole. Nothing was taken from the car.
The same day, police were dispatched to the 6400 block of Avenue B regarding found property. The found item turned out to have been stolen from a car in the 100 block of Pamellia.
In the 4500 block of Elm on the same day, the driver’s side window of a car was broken out with an unknown object. Nothing was taken from the car.
A resident in the 4500 block of Holt told police on July 15 that someone broke into the front door of the home and stole several items. Police are investigating.
A resident told police on July 17 that an unknown person was using her Community National Bank account to pay bills. Police are investigating.
A clerk at the Shell Station at 5910 West Loop South told police on July 17 that around 5:48 a.m. a man damaged a window on the east side of the building.
