A soon-to-be-spring shopping opportunity will be offered Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at “Pop-Up in the Park,” in Bellaire’s newest park, Evelyn’s Park.
Pop-Up in the Park is a curated market, featuring products made or designed locally in Houston, Texas and surrounding cities. The market will feature jewelry, clothing, art and more, all sold locally. It will showcase the creativity of local people, who do not have brick-and-mortar storefronts, but have a wide variety of products to offer. This one-of-a-kind bazaar will serve as a mechanism for bringing the local community together and giving people a great excuse to walk or drive down to Evelyn’s Park for the afternoon.
In addition to vendors, local bands will be invited to perform and food trucks will be invited to serve lunch and snacks, featuring the great local music and cuisine of the city. The park is located at 4400 Bellaire Blvd. Ample parking is provided across the street, at Bellaire United Methodist Church.

Just what a five million dollar park should provide, more shopping “opportunities”.
