St. Thomas’ Episcopal School invites prospective parents and students to an open house on Jan. 18 to learn about the school’s programs for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
People who attend will get to enter classrooms that are in session to see what classes are like at the private Christian school. The open house starts at 1 p.m. at 4900 Jackwood St.
For elementary aged children, the usual entry point is kindergarten. But the lower school typically has a few openings in each grade, according to a school statement. Another popular entry point is sixth grade, when students are entering Middle School. According to the statement, the St. Thomas High School works to prepare students to immediately enter four-year colleges and universities around the country.
The open house will also discuss extracurricular activities at the school, like sports, music, art, debate and theater. For more information, contact Admissions Director Carin Thorn at (713) 666-3111 or visit www.stes.org.
